Letter sent to HE the Chief Minister of Bihar by email 11-12-10
May it please Your gracious Excellency,
By the blessings of the Divine we pray this finds YE in excellent health and spirits in the service of our state and thereby the nation.
This is to draw YE’s gracious attention to my website www.lamashree.org concerning which the IB is bound to be familiar with. This is basically a collection of various writings of mine on the Dalai Lama, the Karmapa Controversy and so on. May I urge YE to browse through this site personally to develop an idea of what it might contain in the national interest.
This is to draw YE’s gracious attention to the anomalous phenomenon known as Root Inst based in Bodh Gaya under the patronage of the DL. It forms part of an organisation grandiosely called Foundation for the Preservation of Mahayana Teachings or FPMT.
Notably Feb 24, 2007, Ashley Carney 24, of the US had been found dead at the Root Inst. Its organisers claimed it to be a case of suicide by jumping off the first floor. The manner in which the body lay on the ground told a different story of it being actually a murder. In any case, the viscera of the deceased had been sent to Nagpur for a forensic test then and the case has been silenced, with the police and the administration having been paid off to keep shut. Moreover pressure from the DL ensured that the matter was relegated into the limbo.
YE is urged to have this incident fully investigated in the national interest and the culprit nabbed and prosecuted.
Another issue concerns the Gelugpa sect of the Dalai Lama. At best the whole lot of them is dicey particularly his elder brother Gyalo Thondup.
Notably elder monks regularly sodomise young novices age 8 onwards at these monasteries. This child abuse is rampant in Gelugpa monasteries specifically. YE could read the article ‘Sexual abuse of children in monasteries of the Dalai Lama’ posted many years ago on my website. It is my humble request that swift action be taken against these monasteries and that the DL be told in no uncertain terms that such behaviour, besides being a direct infringement of the Vinaya, is unacceptable in modern Bihar and throughout India.
YE may also be aware of the real reason as to why the grandiose Maitreya Project was not given the green signal. It had been planned by international agencies to use this as a financial and logistical conduit to train and arm Naxalites! And the DL was a direct accomplice in this sordid venture!
I have gone to the extent of stating that circumstantial evidence proves beyond doubt that the DL was directly involved not only in the purported FLIGHT of Urgen Trinlay Dorje from Tibet, in cohoots with the PRC, from day one, he was also fully aware of the Khandahar hijacking plot and had assisted the PRC, the CIA and Pakistan to obtain the release of the three dreaded terrorists through directly influencing decision taking at the centre.
Given such a dubious track record, concerning which the GOI is fully aware, but somehow finds itself powerless to do anything about it, YE is urged to be extremely cautious of anything to do with the DL and his Gelugpa sect as also his protege the purported 17th Karmapa Ugen Trinlay Dorje who is certainly physically at least ten years older than his purported age of 25! UTD has the entire weight of the Central Tibetan Administration behind him and thus has the media chasing after him head over heels! This too needs to be curbed!
It may be appropriate to mention that the NDA govt at the centre had treated the DL as the Rajaguru of India besides making him the uncrowned emperor of the republic. It is prayed that such a situation never ever arises again! Fortunately for us, he has since been defanged with the NATO tilt towards India and the PRC having shown the DL the door shortly after the conclusion of the Beijing Olympics.
His capacity to create mischief has thus been curbed, but he continues a potential threat in any case with all his sweet talk and sermons and activities incongruous with his beguiling statements and divisive politics religious and otherwise!!
Above all it is necessary for YE to understand the great historical divide between Sanatana Dharma and Buddhism and the manner in which the former had physically and directly persecuted the latter 2nd century BCE onwards sporadically then. The advent of Adi Shankara 7th c. CE, had formalised this process making it pan Indian, as history itself is witness, leading to its final fall at the hands of Muslim invaders. As a Buddhist I must therefore urge YE to cultivate an awareness of the forces which have shaped the history of ancient India.

To: The Dalai Lama -- The Buddha of the current age!
Sir,
Never having met a Buddha in person, I am at a loss to know as to how one could appropriately address or refer to you, considering that you have been accorded this vital recognition by a honourable member of the Indian Parliament from Himachal Pradesh, India, Dec 10, 2010. So we need to wait for your PR Managers to tell us the appropriate form of address for such an exalted person as your gracious self, Nobel Peace Laureate, recipient of the US Congress Gold Medal et al!
For the time being, may I humbly request you to accept the following salutation forgiving me my acts of commission and omission: I’m just an ordinary Indian of inferior capabilities with little understanding of the Dharma as you know well! Sasanadhara sagara is the Pali rendering of your given name Tenzing Gyatso.
Namo tassa bhagavato arhato sammasambuddha sasanadhara sagarassa!
I must necessarily rejoice in the merit accumulated by you, the inestimable Paragon of Virtue, in accordance with the teachings of Karma Chhagmay. In so doing, I too may accumulate merit of an equal amount as you have done and continue to do so.
You certainly deserve to be commended for having fulfilled in your lifetime, that which the Gelugpa Lama and later the God-King of Tibet, the Great Fifth Taal’ai Lama, had set out to accomplish c. 1642 CE. He was the Tibetan equivalent of Adi Shankara, the 7th century Indian predator cleric par excellence. He had succeeded but only partially, with the pogrom unleashed against non Gelugpa traditions. Choying Dorje, the Xth Gyalwang Karmapa had thus been compelled to flee Tibet to the northern kingdom of Sa-dam to save his life. This enlightened tradition has continued since as history itself is witness and it is this which is your distinguished and undisputed inheritance!
Similarly you have accomplished the enlightened wishes of your immediate predecessor. He had installed his personal selection of the son of a Lhasa aristocrat as the XVIth Karmapa in Tsurphu. Unfortunately, as history records, the Dharma protectors were rather outraged by this uncalled for intervention by the XIIIth Taal’ai Lama. The youngster had fallen off the roof of his monastery at the tender age of 15 and died. Thus it was that Rangjung Rigpa’i Dorje was installed as the XVIth, whom even as the world grew to love and appreciate, you would develop an increasing aversion to him with the passage of time!
Moreover, HH the XVIth had been able to travel with 200 pack animals bearing loads of precious artifacts and relics to Bhutan in 1957-58, thus preempting the wrath of the Peoples’ Liberation Army unleashed in 1959. These too have now been destroyed and corrupted by moths, mildew and adverse weather conditions as they languish locked up and uncared for in Rumtek courtesy your gracious intervention! The Black Vajra Crown, which would bring liberation on sight, will no more grace the crown of the Karmapas, accomplishing the welfare of all beings irrespective of race, creed and nationality! Nor will the hundreds of priceless thangkas in Rumtek evoke devotion and admiration amongst the faithful! Thus you have fulfilled the vision of the Great Helmsman Mao Tse Tung as well! E-ma-ho! How wondrous is this all!
The Karma Kagyu is now in total disarray with your recognition and the unqualified backing of Urgen Trinlay Dorje as the 17th Karmapa by the so-called Govt of Tibet in Exile. It is common knowledge that you had done this in accordance with the directions of your mentor and elder brother, the famous Gyalo Thondup and the PRC! The Govt of India and more than half of the Karma Kagyu Sangha throughout the world has cogent reasons to believe he is an impostor and an agent of China. C’est tres magnifique!
The magic you weave, Oh Nobel One, is beyond compare! By simply waving your wand you have created a birth certificate for Urgyen Trinlay Dorje, date of birth given as June 26, 1985. Your followers throughout the world thus acclaim him as being 25 when medical science and common sense would assess him closer to 40 blindly accepting him as such, expressing their unconditional and unwarranted fealty to you, the Free Tibet Campaign and the Govt of Tibet in Exile! It is such who empower you to be that which you are!
Dharma Chakra Centre or Rumtek Monastery, is now become a mere shadow of its former self. Earlier, it was the spiritually vibrant Seat of HH the XVIth Gyalwang Karmapa, the cradle which had earlier nurtured incarnate Lamas and serious spiritual aspirants. Now it is the hotbed of Tibetan Nationalism with you at its head! Thus you ensure that none other than a Tibetan is recognized as an incarnate Lama, which lies at the root of the Karmapa Controversy, in order to maintain the hegemony of Tibetans over the world! Clearly non-Tibetans can never be equal to your compatriots who simply constitute the superior race!
The She Dhra or College of Buddhist Studies at Rumtek, is defunct, as also is the Retreat Centre. The monastery no longer has even a single resident incarnate Lama, and lacks a qualified Khenpo and Vajracharya as well! The place is protected by the ITBP, Indo Tibet Border Police, a paramilitary force directly under orders from the Govt of India, ensuring the illegal takeover of the monastic complex by your ardent followers on behalf of the PRC does not take place! How wondrous this is!
You, ‘a honoured guest of India’ however, remain totally unphased by it all regaling in the success of all your ventures! The Buddha of the present age -– can never do any wrong! Neither are you governed by human laws! You have totally transcended all human bounds and concerns!
Even the teachings of the Buddha do not apply to you any longer -- the Three Covenants, teachings on Spiritual Integrity et al. Your political loyalties ever remain suspect as you continue to hobnob with those very same Hindus in India who are the inheritors of the ignominious tradition of Adi Shankara! It is the more amazing that they in their deluded understanding, mistakenly revere you as an incarnation of Vishnu, exalting you to the status of the Raja Guru of India when such positions have traditionally been reserved for Aryans. None from abroad has ever been accorded such a status!
You, Great Paragon of Virtue, create your own rules of engagement as you go along merrily through life, collecting billions of dollars in funds and accolades from the high and mighty, all and sundry. Even the Govt of India gives you an annual grant of ten million dollars! The Free Tibet Campaign is big business. None know of the amounts regularly secreted away as gold in Swiss vaults in numbered accounts! The fate of the enormous amounts of gold and jewels brought by you to India in 1959 too remains unknown!
Movers and shakers throughout the world together with countless ordinary citizens, are simply charmed by your amazing prowess with words, charisma, interactive skills, and aggressive PR combined with the liberal humanism you expound repeatedly from various pulpits, even as little congruence exists between your words and your deeds. These remain a cause of serious concern to the Govt of India and the few who are knowledgeable, given your enormous skills at dissimulation!
Exiled Tibetans, for the most part, affirm your actions as being impeccable without so much as even bothering to stop and question. You are the one who knows it all, are all powerful, the source of their very identity and sustenance -– the Buddha of the present age! May I be bold enough to suggest that all of this is in direct contradiction of the teachings of the historical Buddha, notably the Kalama Sutta!
They would have us all, irrespective of race, nationality, creed, persuasion and country, uphold you as their undisputed sovereign and liege and accept the flow of ambrosia, nectar like deeds of yours, as the immutable truth directed to the welfare of all! Any lack of acquiescence becomes tantamount to high treason. Those who differ are intimidated, castigated, poisoned, physically attacked or even exterminated as has happened repeatedly in the past!
Child abuse in your monasteries is rampant. Not even you seem to care of the plight of the hapless eight year olds whose person is repeatedly violated by his seniors to satiate their animal urges!
Would it be inappropriate to mention here that bounties of Rs. 100,000/- each had been offered by your enlightened followers in 1977 for the assassination of the XVIth Karmapa, Kyabje Dudjom, Dilgo Khyentse Penor and Dzonang Rinpoches, leaders of the Nyingmapa tradition? It was thus that Gungthang Tsultrim had his life forfeited one evening May 1978 in Clement Town.
The tragic demise of the universally loved Jamgon Kongtrul III, grandson of Ngapo Ngawang Jigme, Cabinet Minister of free Tibet, devoted heart son of the XVIth Gyalwang Karmapa, April 24, 1992, has left many wondering as to whether it was not a vengeance killing made to appear as a car accident. Was it not orchestrated by Dharamsala in collusion with Chinese intelligence, so that he could not visit Tibet that summer to verify the authenticity of your protege Karmapa?
Similarly, the use of black magic to neutralize any perceived threat is considered passé by your noble followers! None know the extent to which this has been successfully employed! E-ma-ho! This indeed is wondrous!
Axioms such as ‘Of the two witnesses, hold on to the principal one,’ amongst the founding principles of the Kadampa tradition to which you belong, no longer apply to you. After all your tradition boasts of being ‘especially we Gelugpas’! Neither apparently do the provisions of the Three Covenants or Disciplines, to which you may adhere or not, even as you live in accordance with your enlightened confabulations, creating universal dischord and animosities.
You will certainly recall it was on Mar 31, 2009, 50 years on from that day you had first crossed over into India, termed Deliverance Day, that you had for the first time ever, openly expressed your gratitude to India and its peoples for all we have done for you. This happened a full half century into exile, only after the CIA had turned Indophilic and the PRC had shown you the door post Beijing Olympics! It is clearly an utter mockery of the Kadampa axiom -- Be grateful to one and all!
We are constrained to assume, the Buddha that you are, that you have incessantly been meditating on gratitude towards this Land of the Origin of the Buddha Dharma as also its welfare, even as you have continued to fulfill the agenda of the CIA and the PRC in India, contrary to those of the interests of the Republic of India. Your role in the Khandahar hijacking and various other decisions of the NDA govt, remains a matter of open speculation! In common parlance this would be termed high treason which under your previous dispensation in Tibet would have attracted immediate incarceration!
Could it be that you were reciting Vajrasattva as expiation for all the transgressions being committed by you through these processes in the same manner as the Regent Radreng Rinpoche had done, while in gaol in Tibet c. 1950, where he had breathed his last? His Gelugpa monastery too had been looted and destroyed by govt troops under orders from none other than his coreligionist, Tagdra Rinpoche, also Regent! His crime had been to invite Ven. Jhadhral Sangjay Dorje a Nyingma Lama and Ven. Kalu Rimpoche of the Shangpa Kagyu to give teachings.
From your futile attempts to gain hegemony over all Tibetan Buddhist traditions in 1960; to having the Govt of India put the previous Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche in prison 1961 on trumped up charges of being a Chinese spy, simply because of the inordinate success he was having in spreading the Nyingma Dispensation amongst the Tibetan diaspora; the failed coup in Bhutan of the early 1970s, to the grandiose Maitreya Project aborted by the govt as it would create a conduit for the PRC with red terror or Naxalite insurgents, and beyond -- the litany of your involvements are endless -- cover the entire spectrum of life within the Realm of Form! None, of course, can ever know of the full range of your wondrous accomplishments!
You are thus the Plenipotentiary Supreme – the ultimate Chakravartin King before whose undisputed majesty, Oh Ozymandias, we must all bow down, humbled in awe and in utter amazement of your boundless majesty! E-ma-ho!
In any case, who are we to judge, as only the Buddha is competent to understand the depth and vastness of your enlightened vision and activities! Neither is it the job of any individual to keep a record of all you have done and continue to do, the Lord of Death being responsible for this wondrous task!
It is thus that, you, the Buddha of the present age, have created a new paradigm of the Buddha Shasana in the Tibetan context, that of the XIVth Dalai Lama! In these and manifold other ways known better by you, the Buddha of the present age, the Great Paragon of Virtue, have incessantly accomplished the welfare of countless sentient beings who have been unquestionably our mothers in previous lives! Surely posterity will remember you favourably for all these and countless other elements of your enlightened activities! E-ma-ho -- how wondrous this is!

Could it be that you were reciting Vajrasattva as expiation for all the transgressions being committed by you through these processes in the same manner as the Regent Radreng Rinpoche had done, while in gaol in Tibet c. 1950, where he had breathed his last? His Gelugpa monastery too had been looted and destroyed by govt troops under orders from none other than his coreligionist, Tagdra Rinpoche, also Regent! His crime had been to invite Ven. Jhadhral Sangjay Dorje a Nyingma Lama and Ven. Kalu Rimpoche of the Shangpa Kagyu to give teachings.
From your futile attempts to gain hegemony over all Tibetan Buddhist traditions in 1960; to having the Govt of India put the previous Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche in prison 1961 on trumped up charges of being a Chinese spy, simply because of the inordinate success he was having in spreading the Nyingma Dispensation amongst the Tibetan diaspora; the failed coup in Bhutan of the early 1970s, to the grandiose Maitreya Project aborted by the govt as it would create a conduit for the PRC with red terror or Naxalite insurgents, and beyond -- the litany of your involvements are endless -- cover the entire spectrum of life within the Realm of Form! None, of course, can ever know of the full range of your wondrous accomplishments!
You are thus the Plenipotentiary Supreme – the ultimate Chakravartin King before whose undisputed majesty, Oh Ozymandias, we must all bow down, humbled in awe and in utter amazement of your boundless majesty! E-ma-ho!
In any case, who are we to judge, as only the Buddha is competent to understand the depth and vastness of your enlightened vision and activities! Neither is it the job of any individual to keep a record of all you have done and continue to do, the Lord of Death being responsible for this wondrous task!
It is thus that, you, the Buddha of the present age, have created a new paradigm of the Buddha Shasana in the Tibetan context, that of the XIVth Dalai Lama! In these and manifold other ways known better by you, the Buddha of the present age, the Great Paragon of Virtue, have incessantly accomplished the welfare of countless sentient beings who have been unquestionably our mothers in previous lives! Surely posterity will remember you favourably for all these and countless other elements of your enlightened activities! E-ma-ho -- how wondrous this is!
